Tomorrow! Eat lunch for Pelotonia!

Sweet Carrot Food Truck is teaming up with Pelotonia tomorrow! Join us at the Pelotonia offices in the Arena District (351 W. Nationwide Blvd) from 11am-1pm, and 50% of food sales will be donated to Pelotonia.

Monica Day of NBC4 will be joining us as well. (We will also be featured tomorrow on the NBC 4 morning show starting at 5am.... set your alarm clocks!)

There's a good chance Julius, the Sweet Carrot mascot, will show up, too. He really likes Monica.

The Story of Julius and His Bicycle
When Julius, the Sweet Carrot mascot, found out that we were doing a benefit for Pelotonia, he was very excited.

He went to the local antique shop and bought a rusty high-wheeler bicycle with the dream of fixing it up for the ride on August 10-12.

That he did! He painted the bike Pelotonia green, added streamers and spoke beads, and even customized his little bike helmet with a ‘I heart Carrots’ sticker.

Julius doesn’t know yet that he won’t be able to participate... Rabbits can’t ride bicycles! Their little legs are too short and riding a high-wheeler 180 miles is just a
ridiculous thought!

So if you see Julius at the parking lot of Pelotonia this Friday for lunch, just break it to him easy. He is, after all, donating 50% of all food sales at lunchtime to Pelotonia - 11am until 1pm. See you there!
